The Spirit Knife – Built for Real-World Bushcraft
The Spirit Knife is the first blade in the Mountainside Mettle Series, built for bushcraft and outdoor adventure. Whether you're carving, notching, or fire-starting, this knife is designed to handle real-world survival needs with precision and reliability.
Purpose-Built for Durability & Versatility
Crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, the 4.75-inch blade is tough, holds an edge, and even generates sparks with flint. The curved belly makes feather sticking effortless, while the drop point and Sabre grind provide the precision needed for fine carving and notching work. The 90-degree spine adds another level of functionality for fire prep and scraping tasks.
Expert-Driven Design
The Spirit Knife was designed by Jason Breeden, with input from Jason Marsteiner and other instructors from The Survival University. Breeden’s extensive 30-year background in knife design ensures this blade is both practical and efficient, built for real outdoor use rather than just show.
Ergonomic Handle & Rugged Sheath
Unlike many bushcraft knives designed for light-duty work, the Spirit Knife’s handle is built for hard use. It provides a comfortable grip for extended carving, batoning, and cutting, and the pommel scraper adds another tool for fire-starting.
Manufactured by Condor Knife and Tool Company, the Spirit Knife comes with a Black Kydex & Cordura ambidextrous sheath, featuring two expandable Ferro rod holders (fits 3/8” to 1/2” rods). The sheath is customization-ready, allowing users to modify their carry setup as needed.
The Spirit Knife is built for those who rely on their gear when it matters most.
